You can see in this picture, what started out as yellow squares, now elongated into 3d rectangular blocks.  At the lab, we tried a reciprocating saw to move the screen.  You can sort of see in this video that it does eventually end up being a smooth effect.  With a little bit of acceleration monitoring worked into a 3D POV displaying application, we’ll be able to display full on holographs.  Maybe even true holographic vision using 2 small ones worn as glasses.  We can even have another screen on the bottom for an underside view.  I also envision this being a desktop display with clear touch surface sides allowing the user to interact with the hologram.  Please share any 3d POV things you come up with!  A virtual Obi Wan Kenobi handshake anyone?
