Introducing the Carduino – On Sale Now

The team at Alpha One Labs have designed a low profile Arduino clone that fits flat in your wallet. The chip used is the ATMega328P-MU. The pins are in the standard position for adding on shields. This design features a built in USB connector so you can leave the cable at home. The components are also surface mount and make for a much greener footprint.  We’ve also managed to fit a prototyping area so you can build your project right on the card.

We’re selling them for $50.  $40







This design is completely open source and the files can be found here. The picture only shows the board. You will receive a fully functional Carduino complete with parts soldered on. If you’d like to surface mount solder the parts on yourself (the chips are tiny and require delicate soldering), the kit is available for $27 via this paypal button:
