Alpha One Labs is pleased to offer a Saturday afternoon meetup for those wishing to discuss and study Computational Theory and related subjects. Below is a list of suggested reading material, duration times, and level of intensity so we can best accommodate the interest of the group.
Computational Theory Meetup

Sudkamp’s Languages and Machines (already got a copy!)
I’d also be interested in statistics, or in a study group for Wolfram’s NKS.
I feel the need to put the kibosh on NKS. Statistics would be fun, but if you want to do straight math, we should probably integrate it into the Math Mondays schedule.
I’m a lot more interested in languages and computation than OS and network type stuff… I’ll probably bow out if folks want to go that route.
That’s cool. If there’s a tie with Sipser and something else, I’ll go with Sipser. Because, like, you know, theoretical underpinnings are the bomb and all that.
I’m in, regardless of the choice of material

Patrick: That’s daring of you. Bwahahahaha.
