Today marked the opening day of the School Of the Future,  a month of  outdoor classes at Sgt. Dougherty park.  After arriving to “Costume Sports” full-court basketball game,  and an illustration class in session, we gathered and listened to the national anthem over a recorded sample produced minutes ago by the park’s locals.  Nick Normal hacked the audience with his megaphone vuvuzela horns, and we had snacks and rice crispy treats passed around in the circle.  I am teaching a class, “Flying Saucer Technology Past and Present”, on July 24th and there is plenty of seating for everyone, maybe we’ll even stream it online.  See you in the future!
