ABS pen

The ABS pen allows its user to draw out creations using ABS plastic. Rods of ABS plastic are fed into the top of the pen. A nichrome wire wound chamber, powered by a standard outlet, heats up the plastic in preparation for dispensing. When the ready light is on, the dispense button is pressed and plastic flows through the interchangeable nozzle at the speed determined by the speed dial.

Parts needed to start the first iteration of this project:

• abs plastic rods
• cylinder that fits plastic rods
• nichrome wire
• nozzle

This invention was conceived on 10/3/09 by @psytek and @nykodemus

As suggested by @mike_doell we may try to modify a glue gun first to do this.
