From Alpha One Labs

Agenda for Tuesday's meeting 7-10pm:

1. Moving into the new space.
   • We signed the lease for the front space and will be painting, mounting shelves and moving in this week.
2. DIYBIO-NYC
   • DIYBIO-NYC http://diybionyc.blogspot.com/ is a fairly new Do-It-Yourself biology group located in NYC. They are looking for some space and may have found a home next to Alpha One. We'll discuss ideas about this.
3. Speeding up Internet Access (getting internet).
   • We've been leaching off the neighbors open wifi for too long. Its about time we get some internet. Lets talk about our options (the place across the street has FIOS. It would be awesome if we could get it.)
4. Zero crossing detector
   • In preparation for our Arduino class series, RMD is going to be giving a practice arduino class involving solid state relays, A halogen lamp, ACD, PWM, ZCD and a bunch of other acronyms.
5. Vending Machine
   • We finally got the vending machine working. It will be serving cold refreshments for the duration of our meeting.
